SCHEDULING

A consistent time to grow.

Students are encouraged to establish a regular weekly lesson time. Consistent instruction and practice between lessons provide the strongest foundation for musical progress.

Reed & Key does not require a semester-long commitment. Lesson schedules can be adjusted as students' needs and schedules change, subject to availability.

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

When plans change.

We understand that schedules sometimes change. Please provide at least 24 hours' notice when cancelling or rescheduling a lesson.

Lessons cancelled with at least 24 hours' notice may be rescheduled based on availability.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice and missed lessons are charged the full lesson fee. Exceptions may be made for illness, family emergencies, severe weather, or other unexpected circumstances at the instructor's discretion.

If Marissa needs to cancel a lesson, there is no charge for the missed lesson and a new lesson time may be arranged.

PAYMENT

Keeping things simple.

Payment is due for each scheduled lesson according to the payment arrangements established when lessons begin.

There are no long-term contracts or semester commitments required to begin lessons with Reed & Key.

PREPARING FOR YOUR LESSON

Come ready to make music.

Students should have their instrument assembled and ready when possible, along with any music, method books, reeds, accessories, and materials needed for the lesson.

Students are encouraged to practice regularly between lessons. The amount and type of practice will vary depending on the student's age, experience, goals, and repertoire.

School band music, audition materials, ensemble repertoire, and other pieces students are currently working on are always welcome at lessons.
